About Griffin Waste Dumpster Rentals

Griffin Waste started in 2002 with one roll-off truck, a hook-lift hoist, and a family in Asheville, North Carolina. Mike, Margo, and Chad Griffin built it the old-fashioned way: answer the phone, show up when you say you will, and treat a customer's driveway like your own.

Within the first year they'd added trucks just to keep up with demand. A lot has grown since then. The handshake-and-show-up part hasn't changed a bit.

Why We Only Run 10-Yard Dumpsters

By 2004 we'd noticed something. The giant dumpsters everyone else pushed were overkill for most jobs, a pain to place, and rough on driveways. So we made a call that still defines us: we dropped the big bins and went all-in on the 10-yard roll-off.

It's the right size for the vast majority of home and small construction projects, it tucks into driveways and tight spots the big rigs can't reach, and paired with our four-wheel-drive trucks, we can set it almost anywhere you need it. One size, done right, beats a lineup of sizes done just okay.

Locally Owned, Right in Your Town

In 2007 we proved the model travels, opening in Knoxville under Mike's nephew, Ryan Norwood. A few years later we began franchising so other local owners could bring the same system to their own communities. Today Griffin Waste is a growing network of locally owned locations around the country.

Here's what that means for you: when you call, you reach the local owner who actually runs your market, not a national call center routing your job to the lowest bidder. Local crew, not a middleman.
